From August 2–7, Black Hat USA returned to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, bringing together the global cybersecurity community for six days of intensive learning, innovation, and networking.

The week began with four days of specialized Trainings (August 2–5), offering hands-on skill-building across the offensive and defensive spectrum. This was followed by the Briefings (August 6–7), where experts shared cutting-edge research on emerging threats, malware, exploit development, and applied security. The Business Hall buzzed with activity as thousands of security professionals explored the latest tools, technologies, and partnerships shaping the industry.

The Quantum PKI team — Judy Gounden, Chief Marketing Officer; Kevin Naidoo, Founder & Lead Engineer; and Josh Kuebel, Lead Consulting Engineer: Professional Services – PKI & Multi-Factor — made the most of every moment, connecting with partners, customers, and industry leaders.

Highlights included:

An insightful exchange with Chris van Staden, Vice President, and Steve Baral, Director of Channels, at IONIX, where discussions explored the evolving PKI landscape, the role of automation, and real-world customer use cases.
Strengthening our 16-year partnership with CDW through meaningful conversations with Jeremiah Salzberg, Chief Security Technologist; Eric Marchewitz, Senior Field Solutions Architect; Daniel C. Miller, Inside Solution Architect – Cybersecurity; and Anthony Glowacki, Cyber Security Architect. These discussions centered on scaling PKI, adapting to shorter certificate lifespans, and driving automation in security infrastructure.

These conversations reaffirmed our commitment to delivering professional services that simplify and strengthen security in an increasingly complex landscape.

Black Hat USA 2025 was more than an event — it was a catalyst for innovation, collaboration, and forward momentum. We are grateful for the connections made, the knowledge shared, and the opportunity to help shape the future of secure digital trust.
